Katy Perry channels the inner ugly Betty in new ‘Last Friday Night’ cover art

Katy Perry gets hilariously funny and extremely geeky in the newly released cover art for her song ‘Last Friday Night’ off the latest album Teenage Dream.

The cover art consists of two photos, one featuring the geek Katy sitting in her bedroom and writing a diary, and the second pic showing a close-up photo of her heavily made-up face with weird braces. The latter photo looks as if Katy Perry is auditioning to star as Betty Suarez in Ugly Betty.

‘Last Friday Night’ is currently #67 on Billboard Hot 100 with the music video coming really soon.

I told someone about my new music video I just filmed & they responded with ‘wow, that’s gonna break the internet.’ … Should I knock on wood?” Katy Perry wrote about her new geek-themed video.
