Introducing Shawty Mane – Justin Bieber’s alter ego

Having an alter ego seems like the new IT thing in showbiz. Almost every A-list music celebrity has their own.
Justin Bieber, 16, is the latest to introduce his rap alter ego Shawty Mane to his Twitter fans.

In the video posted on the micro-blogging site Justin (Shawty Mane) premiered his rep song ‘Speaking In Tongues’ saying the following:

Speaking in tongues freestyle.. who knew i could rap lol.. my alter ego rap name is Shawty Mane.. hah.”

Prior to posing the video Justin Bieber had often said he would never rap his own stuff despite multiple offers from rap moguls. Seems he’s changed his mind:

You guys might know me as the guy who sings Baby/ You know, uh, I’m a singer, pop singer/ I’m white (Im white, Im white)/ But, um, you know I just wanted to do this Just to prove that/ You know I got skills, on, on, on the rap game,” Justin Biber (Shawty Mane) rapped at the end of the clip.
