“Hard Candy” will be released on the April,28th and is going to be the last album with Warner Bros. for Madonna. She left the guys she had worked with for 26 years since the very start of her career. Her new contract is worth $120 million dollars with Live Nation Inc. who gets rights to any product concerning Madonna for the next 10 years. She is the first celebrity signing a contract of such character. My guess is that Madonna wouldn’t do anything unless she was 100 % sure in the greatness of the deal. Live Nation Inc. is a concert – show oriented company, while Warner Bros.’s business is based on selling albums. Therefore, considering the fact that most of the money comes from the concerts and not from cd sales this is a very smart decision. Think of all the pirate copies that steal artist’s money. Bravo, singing Diva! She is the hard candy!
