Everyone covers Britney
There was time when Britney Spears covered popular songs like Rolling Stones’ ‘Satisfaction’ or Joan Jett’s ‘I love Rock & Roll.’ And now it’s her time to shine! Instead of checking out charts’ lists to find out what’s really popular these days you’d better check out what songs are covered by other artists.
‘Womanizer’ is one of the It-songs now. Everyone covers Britney. Everyone covers ‘Womanizer.’
One of the first A-listers to do that was Lily Allen. And I must confess I like her cover more than the original song actually.
And now it’s All American Rejects. They say they cover the song cause they can sing it better than Ms. Spears, though I kind of doubtful. Anyways, the accordion sounds cool.
Britney isn’t only the comeback artist of the year, she can also be called one of the most covered artists of 2008!
That’s what I call popularity.
