Confirmed: Britney Spears’ new single ‘Hold It Against Me’ is out this month!

As previously reported, Britney Spears is releasing her new single, first single in two years, this month. However, Brit’s manager Adam Leber has denied the rumor the song is coming this Friday, January 7th, saying fans shouldn’t “believe everything you read unless of course it’s an official announcement.”

In his official statement Leber said ‘Hold It Against Me’ was definitely coming in January but not on Jan. 7. (I know some of you are so pissed off to learn this.)

Lot of misinformation out there regarding the release of Brits 1st single,” Adam Leber said. “Sorry guys, but never pay attention to unofficial announcements. Just trying to clarify. Please don’t ‘hold it against me’. That said, the single is DEFINITELY coming in January. PS – happy New Years people.”

‘Hold It Against Me’ is the first single off Britney Spears’ upcoming studio album that’ll hit music stores in March this year.
