France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy stays up at night because Bruni does her music rehearsals. Former model and current singer and wife to the French president, performed on the Beeb’s Later… With Jools Holland a couple of days ago to promote her new album, Comme Si De Rien N’Etait.

Jools asked her about life with le Président de la République. To what she was cool to reply:

My life is not new from the inside. I have learned to be cool about it.”

Watch her at the show. Carla’s singing is warm and velvet like. Carla Bruni clearly loves music. If that keeps Sarkozy awake at night then he’s a lucky man.

Carla Bruni, the beautiful First Lady of France has arranged a special meeting with Metallica whom she adores. Heavy metal band made their visit on September 17 and tried to work together on some pieces.
