Britney Spears reveals Summer 2011 tour dates (sans Enrique Inglesias)

Britney Spears released her new album Femme Fatale yesterday and also announced a new tour in support of the album that she’ll start in June this year. Britney made her appearance on Good Morning America to reveal the tour plans saying she was going to hit the road with Enrique Iglesias. However, Enrique’s rep later denied the reports.

Thank you guys for all your love and support. I love music. It’s my world. It’s my everything, so I’m so happy to be able to share it with everyone. We are going on tour with Enrique Iglesias in June!” Britney Spears said in her GMA interview.

As it later turned out, there were formal talks of the joint tour but Enrique Iglesias and his team decided not to join Britney so he could continue his solo tour.

With Enrique or without him, Britney will kick off her 26-date tour on June 17 in Sacramento, Ca, and perform at various venues in the US and Canada.

The new yet untitled tour is Spears’ first tour in two years.
