Britney Spears ‘Hold it Against Me’ video premiere – a highly-anticipated flop

Teasing us with 5 to 30 second-long teasers for the past two weeks Britney Spears has made everybody super interested/ bored with her new music video for ‘Hold it Against Me’, the first single off her seventh studio album Femme Fatale. The video premiered last night on MTV and I must say it failed to meet my expectations.

‘Hold It Against Me’ is just another dancing video from Britney Spears – and I thought it would actually have a story, a plot, and be interesting to watch over and over again. Alas, Britney and the video director Jonas Akerlund have failed to make it exciting.

Even though me and some other viewers are disappointed at Spears’ ‘Hold it Against Me’, there are fans who like it. Britney herself likes it, too:

Hope you guys love it as much as I do. If you didn’t I’ll kung fu kick you like I did to that chick in the video,” Britney Spears tweeted about ‘Hold it Against Me’.

If I could choose what vid to watch, I’d prefer the spoof video released two weeks ago – it’s so much more fun!
