Britney Spears announces release dates for Femme Fatale and ‘Hold It Against Me’

Pop princess Britney Spears and her team took to Twitter to announce two big pieces of news for all Britney’s fans – the release dates for the new album Femme Fatale and the new video ‘Hold It Against Me’, the first single off the album.

As to Britney Spears’ seventh studio album, Femme Fatale, expect it everywhere on March 29, 2011. Femme Fatale is Brit’s first album in two years and she says she’s “poured my heart and soul” into it.

I’ve put everything I have into it. This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way!” Britney Spears said last week when the name of the album was revealed.

The first single off the album, ‘Hold It Against Me’, was premiered late last month. The highly-anticipated video is coming next week, Brit has revealed.

Feb. 17th…9:56 PM…MTV….The WORLD PREMIERE of the Hold It Against Me video…directed by Jonas Akerlund,” Britney said in her tweet.

Tune in to Jersey Shore to be the first to see her new video next Thursday on MTV or watch it online at VEVO at the same time!
