Check it out, Michael Jackson ‘Breaking News’
The new, first postmortem album Michael, has recently become the center of controversy with some media claiming the voice on the album does not belong to Michael Jackson. Besides, the Jackson camp as well as Michael’s kids say songs on the album and the songs they heard their dad record in the studio sound absolutely different.
However, Sony Music Group has completed their own investigation and has said in the statement that all the songs from Michael are authentic:
We have complete confidence in the results of our extensive research as well as the accounts of those who were in the studio with Michael that the vocals on the new album are his own,” the studio said.
We need to wait and see it for ourselves. Don’t miss Michael in stores starting December 14th!
UPDATE: Taryll Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, wrote on his Twitter:
I will not support ‘Breaking News’ and a few others because it simply is not him.”

People are crazy to think the vocals are not Michael Jackson. You think the major label would take the risk of faking it or having an impersonator stepping in? If the act is shady to begin with, it would take a shady impersonator and production team to go ahead with it, which are exactly the kind of people that would take bribes from press and large news stations to admitting the truth later. Too much of a risk … Has to be Michael on the disk.
My personal thought tough is that they are tracks that Michael would not have been happy releasing and probably meant for demo purposes with the intention of re-singing later if they made the cut for an album which would be sad.
