Alicia Keys Performs At NBA All-Star Halftime Show

She recently sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl as well as performed at the Grammys along Maroon 5. But Alicia Keys scores yet another high profile gig as she performs at NBA All-Star Halftime show. The singer performed a medley of her songs Empire State of Mind, Girl On Fire, No One and New Day as well as showing some moves as she performed a dancing routine with her back up dance team.

The singer looked stage-ready in her midriff-revealing crop top and leather pants from Herve Leger. The performance started with the drum solo and Keys sitting at the piano which she left to dance during Girl on Fire.

Recently the new broke that the singer is branching out as Keys has been named a BlackBerry creative director.

I’m fascinated by technology. I’ve always wanted to work directly with a technology company. I wanted to do something where I could grow professionally and personally,

Keys also told the audience at BlackBerry 10 launch event that:

I am an extremely committed and focused individual. I am going to work closely with the app designers and developers, the content creators, the retailers and the carriers to really explore this BlackBerry 10 platform and create ideas for its future,

But this is just another one of things on Alicia Keys’ CV as she designed a limited edition line of sneakers for Reebok late last year.

Besides her latest projects and gigs Keys has recieved accolades at 40 Principales Music Awards and NAACP Image Awards for Best US Artist or Songwriter of the Last Decade and Female Artist respectively.

The NBA all-star game also had Ne-Yo performing during player introductions. John Legend sang national anthem. Beyonce and Jay-Z were also spotted in the audience.
