Adele Has Shot a Music Video For ‘Someone Like You’

A British singer Adele has finally filmed a music video for ‘Someone Like You’ song, which has been hitting the top international music charts recently. By June the best selling-single of the year already made 1 million sales for the U.K. Although the song was set on the music charts nine months ago, Adele says:

…better later than never.

Indeed, we are excited to see Adele’s new music video, which will be very romantic. The video director Jake Nava told MTV that:

the location evokes style and romance and shooting early in the morning allows you to focus on Adele in this lonely and emotional space.

The singer’s successful record ’21’ was an inspiration for her as she poured all her devastation into writing after the break-up with her boyfriend. Adele talks about her ex:

He changed my life, I can’t deny that. The album helped me get over splitting up with my boyfriend. It helped me forgive and I hope that he has forgiven himself. I’m not boastful but selling 10 million albums for a little girl from Tottenham, I’m very proud of that.

The British soul singer revealed her current feelings towards her ex-boyfriend who broke her heart, saying that she is no longer mad at him:

We’re becoming friends again. It’s alright, I know what I’m doing. Enough time has gone by.

Currently ‘Someone Like You‘ is on the second place of the hot 100 chart. The U.S. fans can see the premiere of Adele’s song today on MTV. Who knows, perhaps this best break-up song will win Adele a new MTV Video Music Award.
