2 Pac ‘Dear Mama’ is American national treasure
25 songs have been announced to enter the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry, a government archive which preserves audio documents considered important for future generations.
Tupac’s ‘Dear Mama’ and R.E.M.’s ‘Radio Free Europe’ are among the songs that make American national treasure.
National Recording Preservation Board describes Tupac ‘Dear Mama’ as a “moving and eloquent homage to both his own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference.”
