“Worst singer ever” Rebecca Black is more popular than Lady GaGa!

I know how completely insane it may sound, but according to YouTube stats, Rebecca Black’s debut video ‘Friday’ has become the real viral sensation after scoring 30 million hits over the weekend and even leaving Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ 8 million views behind, thus becoming the #1 most-watched video on YouTube!

That’s just crazy!

Rebecca Black first appeared on the media scene last week after her debut song ‘Friday’ was released on iTunes on March 14. She was quickly labeled as the “worst singer ever” but it could’t stop her from becoming a new media target with her debut photoshoot for People magazine and appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno coming soon!

Saying she’s dreaming of a duet with Justin Bieber (“I have Bieber fever!”), Rebecca, 13, admits that though she’s not the best singer in the world she has “talent of some level” and is ready to become a star!

I don’t think I’m the worst singer, but I don’t think I’m the best singer,” Rebecca Black said.

And though I don’t like the song, I must confess the girl knows how to create media buzz. At the recent Concert of Hope held in LA on Sunday night, Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers covered her song ‘Friday’. He’s become the first celebrity to cover this sh*t. Must confess I like his rendition so much more than the original version of the song.
