Madonna’s ‘Girl Gone Wild’ Video: Provocative and Ambiguous!

OMG! I haven’t seen such a messy video for ages, I guess. Girl Gone Wild, Madonna’s second single off of her upcoming album, MDNA, is about a woman misbehaving and she seems to have decided that no one but a bunch of unconceivable dudes – Ukrainian dance troupe Kazaky – in heels can express the ‘sense’ of her song. And I guess Madge is experiencing the weak vocals these days – you can barely hear what she’s saying. Okay, it’s a wide known fact that she’s not a strong singer, and but her vocals seem very, very soft in this track.

Finally Madonna released her video for Girl Gone Wild video from her latest album MDNA, and I must say that this video is very provocative!

Madonna really goes wild – she rolls around in some kind of antigravity room before she’s shown chained up as strangers feel her up. Cue the synchronized men-in-heels dance and a few major close-ups of two male models biting the same apple – I think that’s not cool…

Fashion photographers and past Madonna collaborators Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott directed Girl Gone Wild and the video was shot in black and white and reminds Madge’s classics Vogue and Express Yourself. The video opens with a bold image of Madonna and a confession:

I’m heartily sorry for having offended thee, and I detest all my sins. Because I dread the loss of heaven and the pain of hell.”

One thing I can’t deny is Madonna’s graceful body. Do you remember how gristly she looked when she was training incessantly with Tracy Anderson. I have no idea who is training her these days, but they’re doing a much better job.

And as for these gays guys, huh, I have pretty ambiguous feelings… Who are they? Guys in heels? Girls in guys’ bodies? Or what?
