Spring 2009 color trends
What is great about spring fashion? It’s brightness of colors and freshness of ideas it brings along. Spring 2009 is promised to be all about color inspiration! Designers’ spring collections will feature a lot of vibrant hues, lively pops, and sophisticated mix of colors.
So what are the IT colors for the upcoming spring?
Palace Blue
According to Pantone Color Institute, most of top-notch designers will favor this color for its unprecedented ability to combination with other colors of the palette. Besides, blue has been in favor this past fall too, so it’s like the trend continues, with slight changes added, of course.
Lavender
And again, like purple was reigning in fall 2008, lavender will be hugely popular in spring 2009. It’s more summery and light than purple and it’s exactly what we need in spring, right?
Super yellow lemon
Lemon is about fun, energy, optimism and is probably the most vibrant color at all. Be ready to see a lot of eye-catching super lemon outfits on store shelves in a couple of months.
Salmon rose
It’s definitely a calmer color if compare it to the lemon one. The obvious advantages of salmon rose are that it suits most complexions and is gorgeous with a summer glow.
Bright Fuchsia
Let’s add sex vibe to your look! Fuchsia is an ultimate trend! It’s edgy enough to make you stick out of the crowd while it’s still very feminine to show off your sensitive side.
Subtle rose undertones
This color is more neutral than those mentioned above but still it’s not one of the plain colors you can think of. It’s calm, sophisticated to certain degree, and surely elegant.
Slate grey
It must be not that outstanding as super lemon or fuchsia but the good thing about slate grey is that it can be easily paired with almost any trendy color of spring 2009.
Vibrant green
It’s definitely the top trend color for the spring as it incorporates the main spring color features- brightness, freshness and renewal. Vibrant green leads the other two greens popular next season, that are dark citron and subtle green.
Looks it is gonna a very bright spring!
