Rihanna Brings Back the Suspender Style Tights

Rihanna is fashionable. This is the fact I can’t deny. Still, sometimes Rihanna is not insured against style and clothes malfunction. She stepped out of Nozomi restaurant in London in a pair ofHouse of Holland tights that were seen on Lily Allen, Frankie Sandford and even Princess Eugenie since 2009. Nevertheless, Rihanna seems to like those tights that are pretty flattering on one’s figure. RiRi combined them with a pair of stars and stripes shorts, white T-shirt, jeans jacket and a huge fur vest. Is that a mistake or is she trying to take these tights back to top fashion trends?

Rihanna whose single We Found Love with Calvin Harris has been leading the world charts since its release held a lavish bash at Whiskey Mist in London on Sunday night. Her party lasted till the early hours.

As for her suspender-style tights, spearheaded by Lily Allen in 2009, they are not going to give up so easily. Having been embroidered with the imaginary suspenders and named trompe l’oeil in French – ‘trick of the eye’ have been sold by French lingerie line Chantal Thomass. In the UK, they are designed and distributed by House of Holland designer Henry Holland. I thought these tights have gone as I’m sick of celebrities looking like hookers.

Rihanna is not alone to don these tights this year. Just last week Selena Gomez was seen sporting them in Paris, enjoying time with her beau Justin Bieber. Huh, she looked like a little overdressed gal as these tights do no match to her too infantile face.

I do not know what to think of fake suspender tights. Actually, I do. I do not like them as they give a drop of coarseness to an outfit.
