New President Barack Obama is on everyone’s lips these days. He’s in the spotlight, so is his family.

Michelle Obama has been dubbed as a new fashion icon, following in the steps of trend setter Jackie O and is predicted to glam up the White House style making it more democratic and chic.

And turns out President Obama’s daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, are also making their first steps as new fashion icons. According to The Herald Sun, fashion experts say their influence on the “tween” market cannot be underestimated as the retailers claim they have sold out of many of the dresses worn by the “First Daughters of Fashion” during their father’s election campaign.

Moreover, the black “classic” and “elegant” dress Sasha wore as she listened to her father’s victory speech was a huge hit, they say.

The outfit, once the “crystal pleat social dress” is now the “Sasha” after its most famous owner, and the girl’s hooded jumper, decorated with a peace sign, the one she wore on her first day of sold out at department store Bloomingdale’s in days.

Well, I’m a part of this Obama obsession and I do want to know what the most famous American family of the day will wear at Inauguration Ball today as it’s Inauguration Day, congrats everyone!
