Justin Bieber Labelled “White Trash Prince” for Wearing Overalls to Meet Prime Minister of Canada

Justin Bieber stepped out in Canada this week to accept a Diamond Jubilee Medal from Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. The award is given to Canadians who earn achievements abroad. Harper wore a suit for the national ceremony, Bieber donned a pair of striped overalls with only one strap buttoned and a baseball cap.

But Justin Bieber would like you to know that he is not a “white trash prince” for wearing overalls – he has a perfectly logical reason for the apparent fashion faux paus. Yesterday he gave an explanation for his wardrobe choice, backwards hat, and white T-shirt on Instagram, in response to an article on the Daily Mail that called him out for his wardrobe malfunction. But stop, it was a Gawker post that called him a “white trash prince”!

So, Bieber wrote:

The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day. I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you “Hayley” expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan a suit at that specific time that’s crazy, It wasn’t like it was like I was going into his environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash hayley peterson lol.”

Still, he didn’t clarify why unbuttoned overalls were a smart fashion choice, But as he is crazy about some drop-crotch pants and leather tank tops, so he’d think that denim with suspenders is a logical progression. LOL.
