Five style tips for 2009

So, we already know what major 2009 make up, color, and hair trends are.

This year we see several main style tendencies dominate the fashion scene.

1. Loose light dresses

When it comes to dresses, they’ll be light, and loose. You’re sure to feel comfortable wearing them.

2. Transparent fabrics

If you like to show some flesh, then you’re sure to like another tendency of 2009 – transparent fabrics. Ultrachic and trendy materials will let you be yourself and show off your individuality and style.

3. Sequins & embellishment

Sequins are no longer evening style prerogative. Be ready to wear sequins, embellished and overall glam garments at daytime as well.

4. Harem pants

Harem pants make a major comeback and turn into a fashionista’s fave clothing item.

5. Bandage clothing

Bandage is designer’s favorite style this year. Enjoy bandage clothing and footwear.

Accessories

As to accessories, we see messenger bags dominate the scene this year, too. They were popular in fall 2008, and the trend seems to remain unchanged.

Once large and oversized, sunglasses’ trend has changes radically, with big shades letting round-lensed John Lennon style ones rein this year. Round lenses are your ultimate must-have for warmer days!

Heavy jewelry was very popular in fall and winter. The love of size remains and is widely presented in bracelet trends. Make sure your heavy bright bracelets are lacquer for 2009!
