Beyonce Appears at Michelle Obama’s Fundraiser

I’ve read that when you only pretend to carry the baby and where a fake tummy device that you lose the weight very quickly after the baby is born to the surrogate mother. Anyway, Beyonce looks like she’s already back to her “pre-pregnancy shape”. The 30-year-old singer looked good in a figure-hugging navy blue Victoria Beckham dress last night as she stepped out in Manhattan to attend a fundraising event hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. Her stomach looked unnaturally flat for a woman who just gave birth, but Beyoncé hasn’t lost any of her trademark curves.

She accessorised with two beaded necklaces, including one with a pendant shaped like an eagle. Her bright blue nail varnish, blue accents on her shoes and the colour of her dress were clearly a nod to her newborn, Blue Ivy.

Beyonce does not look as if she gave birth to a baby at all!

Though Ivy Blue couldn’t be with her for the event, she was still there in spirit. Beyoncé did, however, join mother Tina Knowles at the cocktail reception and dinner inside Manhattan’s Greenwich Hotel. The reception, which is being hosted by the First Lady, as well as Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, will raise funds for Obama’s re-election campaign. The expensive event is $2,000 a head.

Earlier in the day the singer and daughter Blue Ivy had a visit from her old bandmate and close friend Kelly Rowland who popped by Beyoncé’s Tribeca apartment in New York. Meanwhile, it was also revealed today that Beyoncé has plans to return to the stage.

The singer announced her intention to perform three concerts in Atlantic City this coming May. She will perform as part of the unveiling of the $2.4 billion Revel Resorts over Memorial Day weekend. Her husband, rapper Jay-Z, also owns the 40/40 club in Atlantic City.
