Welcome to Barbie’s house!
Do you remember your doll house? I do. It was very pink and very small, small for me, but big enough for Barbie.
As we celebrate Barbie’s 50th b-day this year (on March 9, to be exact), there are more and more glam events scheduled to take place to mark the doll’s birthday.
The latest to be announced is the doll’s birthday bash that will be held in the real Barbie’s house in Malibu. What’s so special about it? Well, maybe the fact that the house’s bedroom, living room, and closet will be designed by Top Design judge and interior design guru Jonathan Adler.
Mr. Adler got so inspired by the Barbie themed design that he’ll be launching his own Jonathan Adler Loves Barbie collection of designer pottery, pillows, decorative objects this coming fall, as well as design his own Barbie and special matching furniture for her.
Why not go design my house, Mr. Adler? At least I can say “thank you,” at least I’m not a doll.
