Six hot ladies at 2010 ACM Awards

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held yesterday, April 18th.

One of the largest and most prestigious music ceremonies brought some big country music names on the orange redcarpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

And just like at any other glamorous event, there were certain fashion hits and misses presented. I’ll try to be my good-girl self now and pick the six looks from the red carpet that I definitely loved.

My #1 pick is Taylor Swift. Tay went home empty-handed but still was all so pretty and girlie in wisteria Marchesa chiffon embroidered draped gown and Christian Louboutin shoes.

The dress is awesome!

Big winner of the night Carrie Underwood opted for her favorite LWD. The creme colored one-shoulder gown was decorated with stones and looked a bit of a pompadour but still pretty lovely.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott was the brightest star of the night. Her floor-sweeping neon fuchsia frock looked simple yet elegant and ultimately attention-grabbing.

FYI, Lady Antenbellum won 3 awards at last night’s ACM ceremony including song, single record and group of the year.

What I also noticed last night is that most of female guests at 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards were dressed in light gowns with all shades of white prevailing in the general event palette. Julianne Hough opted for a snow-white dress with a huge flower embellishment on the bodice.

I said most of the ladies opted for white dresses. Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles was an exception. A gorgeous lady in black, she chose a body-hugging dress and a massive pendant necklace to finish off the look. Fab!

My last pick is Laura Bell Bundy in her draped and bejeweled gown with a huge side slit. The design is really hot. Loving it.
