Scream Awards 2008
A list celebrities all appeared at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles for Spike TV’s Scream Awards on Saturday night on October 18.
The 3rd annual Scream Awards honor the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror.
Of course the Ultimate Scream prize – Best Screamplay went to Chris Nolan, the director of The Dark Knight. The movie claimed 12 prizes in total, including acting awards for Christian Bale – Best Superhero, Gary Oldman – Best Supporting Actor and the late Heath Ledger – Best Fantasy Actor and Best Villain for his portrayal of the Joker.
Other big winners at the third annual Scream Awards were Iron Man and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Honor for excellence was bestowed upon Sir Anthony Hopkins – Legend Award, Tim Burton and Wes Craven.
Star Wars creator George Lukas accepted the Comic-Con Icon Award.
Mila Jovovich was awarded the best science fiction.
Marylin Manson, Kate Beckinsale, Kristen Bell, Rosario Dawson, the Osbournes, Winona Ryder, and Liv Tyler glammed up the event.
