Quantum of Solace world premiere

Dressed in a classic black tuxedo with a beautiful Satsuki Mitchellon on his arm, Daniel Craig arrived at the long awaited world premiere of Quantum of Solace. And yes he looked every bit the part of James Bond!

The very first reviews of the Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond film and the second with Craig at the helm, are largely positive and critics are starting to openly declare Craig to be the best Bond of them all. That might be because the new Bond is a cruel and emotionally battered character.

As for the new Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko arrived in a red Valentino gown.

Ukrainian actress said she is proud to play the only Bond girl who does not end up in bed with Bond.

Bond and the Bond girls are becoming deeper, and they have more interesting stories. I prefer to watch that. Other women do, too. Women don’t want to be portrayed as (sex objects). Women have evolved.”

Bond ends up in bed with another agent though.

This time Daniel Craig is not meant to be charming and the lady killer. He is raw emotionless and this what he was trained to be. He is learning about himself and how he should be a double 0.

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are prequals to Sean Connery’s first film. We learn about the dark side of Bond.

The royal gala, which benefited charities Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion, went along with the premiere, but the most exciting part was to see Prince William and Harry dressed as Bonds as if they were on her Majesty’s secret services.
