Kristen Stewart shows she can smile at Rome premiere of ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’

Kristen has noted she needs “a face transplant” to start smiling on the redcarpet. Looks like she’s got one for her Twilight Saga: Eclipse photocall and premiere event in Rome, Italy.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner presented their new movie at the Hotel Russie and Auditorium Conciliazione Thursday.

Kristen opted for black gowns for both events. Taylor looked more casual at the photocall while his redcarpet look was all so dapper sexy (he wore a grey Calvin Klein suit).

Kristen chose a J. Mendel dress for the photocall. She paired it with black stilettos, simple make-up and hair style.

I heart the embroidered Marchesa dress she wore to the premiere later that day. The ruffles are absolutely adorable!

Kristen can be quite petty when smiling! She should practice her happy face expression more often, then media will stop calling her boring and ever-gloomy.

In one of her recent interviews with Parade Magazine Kristen confessed she was “definitely having more fun” with her redcarpet duties.

My own observations show that whenever Kristen is with her “best friend” Taylor she always looks happy, when she’s with Robert Pattinson, she takes a better control of her emotions and chooses to show none at all.
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s visit to Italy is a part of their international tour to promote Eclipse (out June 30, 2010). They’re visiting Stockholm, Sweden coming Monday.
