Glamour names women of the year

Glamour Magazine held its sixth annual awards ceremony to honor achievements of women in film, TV and music, theatre, business and literature as voted by the mag’s readers. The ceremony was held last nigh in London.

Though I personally don’t know some of the winners, the list also includes big A-list personalities that are globally famous.

Kylie Minogue was a big winner of the night as the 41 year old singer was named Woman Of The Year and Entrepreneur Of The Year. Kylie looked sexy in a demure black mini dress with embroidery on the bodice. She paired the dress with a feathered leopard scarf, golden stilettos, matching color clutch, and a heavy necklace. Looked cool.

Katy Perry who was honored Newcomer of The Year was a bow wow girl of the night. She arrived in a bright blue strapless satin dress with a big bow on the front pairing it with red heels, red Lulu Guiness lips clutch, matching red lip studs and 1940s makeup. But for the black stockings she looked pretty glamorous.

I loved this dress! Fearne Cotton was chosen Radio Personality of The Year by Glamour readers. Her dress looks perfect to me. A pretty sexy deep red color, flirty flounced skirt and a cute bow, what a perfect match for a perfect glam redcarpet appearance!

As any other event, Glamour couldn’t do without some funny (and, surely, thus most memorable) moments. Singer Adele who was named UK Solo Artist Of The Year arrived, well, barefoot. Did she leave her shoes at home? Such a perfect example of time mismanagement, isn’t it?

The biggest redcarpet oops was presented by Kirsty Gallacher, Scottish TV presenter, whose black dress went totally transparent in the flashlight.
