Australia gets MTV Awards glamorous

MTV Australia Awards 2009 was held in Sydney, Australia last night with some of your fave young stars turn up to glam the redcarpet and the show.

The awards ceremony was co-hosted by The Hills star and soon-to-have-her-own-show Audrina Patridge and Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

I love Audrina’s redcarpet choices. Her black strapless dress and Balmain crystal studded sandals were perfect, her staple earrings are actually to kill for!

For the show she changed her black dress for a sparkling paillette covered Alberto Makali gown. Loved it too.

Pete Wentz was wearing all black, as always. He arrived in Australia with his wife Ashlee Simpson who donned a black mini dress for the event. Hope that funny trail didn’t make it uncomfortable for her to move round the place.

Kylie Minogue’s sis Dannii Minogue was fabulous! I adore her outer-space dress, though it reminds me of outfits we often see Beyonce wearing these days. This silver J’Aton Couture dress was the most memorable gown of all.

Ms. Minogue paired it with black peep-toe by Christian Louboutin and really hot embellished gloves.

Dannii presented at the show alongside Grammy-winning Duffy. I can’t say I loved Duffy’s fashion choice. It was not glam enough, it was a plain and easy-to-forget look.

Among other dresses that I liked I can mention Australian pop star Delta Goodrem’s chiffon spruce-green-and-brown gown by Australian designer Alex Perry. Chic and beautiful.

And this was the real fashion DON’T of the show. I don’t even know what to say about it…. did she mean Ralph Lauren?
