5 best dresses at Critics’ Choice Awards

As we’ve seen who’s won and lost at VH1’s Critics’ Choice Awards this year it’s time we checked out the best five dresses of the show. No doubt there were a lot of cute dresses but these ones definitely top the Awards’ fashion and style list.

Penelope Cruz looked fabulous in the navy blue floor-sweeping silk dress. It stressed her svelte figure but also emphasized her cleavage and didn’t distract attention from her face and eyes. Simple, elegant, gorgeous.

Kate Beckinsale and her stylists know that dark chocolate hues flatter her. She opted for a curve hugging silk dress for Critics’ Choice Awards and looked stunning. Kate accessorized her dress with chandelier earrings and a couple of heavy bracelets. She waved to fans and posed for photographers looking all smiles, fresh and beautiful.

Evan Rachel Woods was a sexy red haired vixen at the show in a sequined tinted green short dress. The dress was ok but I guess it would look fab if it were floor-long.

Hairspray star Amanda Bynes’ short fuchsia dress was obviously the brightest at the event. It was flirty and sexy, perfect for a bright young star.

But the dress that I loved best was the one sported by Katy Perry. The newly single ‘Thinking of You’ singer followed her 1940s vibe to create an old Hollywood but still modern look. Curly hair, blue fur boa, tight silk and lace dress, and elegant make up made a perfect match to her famous style.

As to other dresses, Angelina Jolie’s one-shoulder gown was ok but it hid so much of her body that it was kind of disappointing. She’s got her pre-pregnancy figure back, why not show it off?

Amy Adam’s short blue dress was beautiful. I liked the pin but there was something missing in her look. Think it was jewelry.

And here’s the surprise dress of the party. Anne Hathaway is always a style icon, but this white-and-black dress did remind me of Cruella Devil’s style. Love it? Hate it? You decide.
