20 best looks from 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Annual lingerie extravaganza, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, was held at the Lexington Armory in New York on Wednesday with some of your favorite VS angels model sexy looks on the runway.

While pregnant Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes were absent from the show because they’re expecting their babies later this year and in early January, I was surprised not to see Marisa Miller at the show. Were you?

The newly-retired lingerie model Heidi Klum was seen in the first row watching her ex colleagues strut the runway.

The likes of Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova (both gloriously back from maternity leave), Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman, Alessandra Ambrosio, Julia Stagner and others modeled Victoria’s Secret’s newest creations on the runway, while the likes of Serena Williams, Nicky Hilton, Adrian Grenier, Paris Hilton, Gerard Butler, Malin Ackerman, and Adam Levine hit the event to watch the show in person.

Katy Perry and Akon were musical guests at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010.

Karolina Kurkova

Why her? Firstly, she looks awesome after giving birth a year ago. Secondly, I love her peacock angel wings. And thirdly, they must be super heavy but she still manages to give a genially happy smile.

Chanel Iman

Why her? I love Chanel’s bubble wings, and I love her white and red ensemble just because it’s so rare that you see Victoria’s Secret models almost fully dressed on the runway!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Why her? She looks awesome in this sexy outfit. Just check out the wings, aren’t they terrific?

Julia Stegner

Why her? I looove her thigh-high boots and the shining corset dress. I believe Lady GaGa could actually wear it on stage some time soon.

As to the second look, the embroidered corset looks awesome to me. It’s obviously hand-made and very original and cool. Besides, unlike most of the looks from VS runway shows, it’s 100% wearable.

Lais Ribeiro

Why her? I have a soft spot for colorful outfits. I love the color mix of yellow and blue in her costume and this extraordinary wings-like decoration behind her back.

Candice Swanepoel

Why her? There’s something in Candice’s face that is very appealing. I like her country girl outfit – the knitted corset looks fab when paired with plaid lingerie.

Her second look is romantic and very Victoria’s Secret Angel-typical.

While the third look is really vamp. I love the butterfly hip brooch and the long lace tail.

Erin Heathertone

Why her? How can you not like this peacock costume? It’s ultimately adorable!

Isabel Goulart

Why her? This look brings back good old memories from my past when I would go into calisthenics….

Behati Prinsloo

Why her? This striped ensemble is one of the brightest pieces of the whole collection this year. It’s fun!

Maryna Linchuk

Team rose? Team star?

Adriana Lima

Why her? Simply because it’s Adrian Lima!

Katy Perry

Why her? Even though Katy was just a performer at the show and not a model, she definitely caught the VS vibe in her vibrant costumes. I loved the fancy headpiece she wore with the purple leotard.
