Matthew McConaughey, GF welcome baby girl

Actor Matthew McConaughey and his model girlfriend Camila Alves have a new addition to their family. Camila gave birth to baby girl yesterday. The girl was named Vida, that means life in Portuguese.

McConaughey announced the happy news on his website:

New Year and New Baby!” he blogged on Sunday. “Happy New Year everybody!!! Vida is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning. Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way. Another blessed day, we give thanks, just keep livin’. Matthew and Camila.”

Vida joins older brother Levi, 17 months.
