Angelina Jolie says her daughter Shiloh wants to be a boy

Angelina Jolie gave her most revealing interview to Vanity Fair August 2010 issue talking all kinds of questions, from marrying Brad Pitt to quitting acting and helping her six children develop their own personalities.

When talking about her brood, Angelina Jolie said her first biological daughter Shiloh, 4, wanted to be a boy, so that’s why they cut her hair short.

The girl “thinks she’s one of the brothers” and Jolie helps her encourage her tomboy style saying that Shiloh now is a lot like Angelina in her childhood days.

Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet,” Angelina Jolie told Vanity Fair. “Goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer. I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around. But at some point, I got closed off, darker. I don’t remember anything happening. I think you just get hit with the realities of certain things in life, think too much, start to realize the world isn’t as you wished it would be, so you deepen. Then, as I had kids and got older—being goofy, lighter—it all came back.”

I don’t know if Angie also liked all the things boys’ in her childhood, but Shiloh seems like a huge fan of boys’ stuff in everything.
