Angelina Jolie brings her kids to ‘Kung Fu Panda 2’ LA premiere

Angelina Jolie turned the Kung Fu Panda 2 Los Angeles premiere into a family event taking her partner Brad Pitt and all their six kids, Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 2, to see the movie for the first time.

Angelina hit the red carpet dressed in black, wearing a chic Michael Kors dress that she paired with Ferragamo shoes, her own jewels, minimal make-up and a simple ‘do. Brad Pitt looked even more casual in the sand colored ensemble and shades.

Though Angelina Jolie did not take her kids to the red carpet to meet the giant Po doll, they were in the theatre with the rest of the audience and were later seen leaving the place with their parents.

My kids like Po played by Jack Black much better than they like me as Tigress,” Angelina Jolie said in her interview last week. “I guess Po is the Dragon Warrior, so it’s only natural. Meanwhile, I’m saying, ‘Look at what I can do.’ And they’re like, ‘Great, but where’s Po?’”

Though yesterday was the first time the Jolie-Pitt kids saw the movie in full they’d seen it before and really enjoyed it, according to their famous mom.

They laughed out loud hysterically through the whole thing and they just loved it, and then I was serious-mom-in-the-car and said, ‘Does anyone have any questions?’ I wondered if my children would ask questions,” Angelina Jolie said at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. “In our home, adoption and birth home are everyday words. Now those are words that Po is using in their favorite movie, and I think it’s just lovely.”

In Kung Fu Panda 2 that opens everywhere on May 26, Po, voiced by Jack Black, gets adopted, so that’s really something the Jolie-Pitt family is well acquainted with.
