Russell Brand on marriage to Katy Perry: “I used to like sex, now I like gardening”

They had one of the most highly-publicized romances of the last couple of years that culminated in a super lavish Indian wedding in October 2010. Now five months into their marriage Russell Brand reveals what it’s like to have Katy Perry as his wife and what it’s like for a former sex addict to live in monogamy.

In his interview with Piers Morgan, Russell Brand said that there were times when he was addicted to sex and now he had a new addiction – gardening.

I can’t believe I used to have sex 20 times a week, especially now I’m married. But now I’m a bloody good gardener,” Russell Brand said.

Well, having his wife travel the world as a part of her new tour in support of the latest album Teenage Dream (Katy Perry will finish the California Dreams tour in November this year), no wonder why gardening becomes his main pastime activity!

Despite the difficulties Russell faces as the new husband, he says he’s absolutely happy to be married to Katy adding that she’s the only woman he’s ever loved in his life:

I’ve never been in love before Katy, as now I rate love as being willing to change for someone.”

That’s so sweet!
