Pregnant and engaged – Kate Hudson shows her huge diamond ring

Four months after announcing her pregnancy, Kate Hudson is here to show her huge diamond engagement ring that her now-fiance and baby daddy Matt Bellamy gave her last week during the very surprise, “very sweet, very romantic” New York proposal.

Kate, who’s about six months pregnant, debuted her new bling on The Today Show saying she didn’t plan to announce the engagement and was just waiting for somebody to notice the ring.

I felt like the announcing thing feels so silly, and I was just waiting for someone to notice,” Hudson told Matt Lauer.

In her interview she also said she was in no rush to get married and was against “putting that sort of pressure” on the wedding thing.

A wedding is a beautiful thing – and I love the idea of two people celebrating their love and bringing their families together – but Matthew and I kind of skipped that part and went right to the good stuff!” Kate Hudson told InStyle April 2011.
