Paris is single… again

Nobody suspected anything like this but it happened. Socialite Paris Hilton has ended her romance with “amazing guy” Benji Madden after 10 months together.

They met while visiting Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s baby daughter Harlow and first went public on February, 21 sharing a passionate smooch at Villa. Soon after that Paris started gushing about her “serious” relationship with Benji, both of them were sporting rings with each other’s initials and talking family and kids.

We just fell in love. He [Benji] has really changed my life. I don’t really like going out any more – we just stay home and I cook for him,” Paris confessed.

I’ve never felt so happy and in love, [Benji] is such an amazing guy and life has never been better!” she added in April.

We have known each other for a long time, and I’ve always known the real Paris. I always knew that she was like…wife material or serious girlfriend material,” Benji said in May 2008.

Benji seemed a perfect match for Paris, at least her parents really hoped him to be.

It’s a great love match, and I have a funny feeling it’s going to go all the way, and we’ve already given it our approval. Their life has never been better. [Paris] is genuinely in love for the first time,” the heiress’s mother said several months ago.

Well, looks like it was too good to last forever.

Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of her friends,” a source close to Paris said. “For now it’s over… but there’s still a lot of feeling there. Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends.”
