Neil Patrick Harris, partner are expecting twins

Rent director Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka are expecting twins, a boy and a girl, via a surrogate mother this fall!

The happy parents-to-be announced the news via Twitter adding they couldn’t “be more thrilled about the imminent arrivals.”

So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We’re super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy…” Neil Patrick Harris posted on his micro-blog.

As far as I remember Neil and David are the first celebrity gay couple to get twins. I’m happy for them but I still think it’ll be really difficult for their kids to adjust. You know, kids at school are such bullies…
