Mrs. Bruno: Sacha Baron Cohen marries Isla Fisher!

If the Australian Woman’s Day is to be believed, Confession of a Shopaholic star Isla Fisher, 34, and her partner of eight years, UK Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen have tied the knot in Paris, France during a very intimate sunset ceremony.

They got hitched last week with just some very close friends present at the traditional Jewish ceremony.

We did it – we’re married!” Isla reportedly wrote in an email to friends. “It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”

The source also reveals that despite his outrageous alter egos Borat, Bruno and Ali G, Sacha is very shy in real life and that’s why the couple chose a very intimate ceremony in Paris over a lavish high profile Hollywood party.

Isla and Sacha met at a party in 2002 and got engaged in 2004. The marriage was put on hold when Fisher became pregnant with daughter Olive, now 2. The couple say they’ve been looking for the right time to get married.

P.S. before marrying Cohen Isla had to convert to Judaism. According to reports, her new Hebrew name is Ayala. Sounds beautiful, do you agree?
