Katy Perry, Russell Brand’s marriage is on the rocks

They had a lavish wedding ceremony last October but now, three months into their marriage, Katy Perry and Russell Brand are already seeking help of a marriage counselor.

Reports claim Katy is asking her friends to recommend a couple therapists as she feels their marriage does not bring them as much joy and happiness as before.

The core of their marriage problems is probably their spending a lot of time apart as Russell is currently reshooting scenes for his new movie Arthur in NY and usually spends the rest of his time in LA, while Katy is always away performing.

Besides, her new The California Dreams world tour begins on February 20th meaning she’ll have to leave her husband for another 10 months (reports claim Katy has scheduled in breaks during the tour so she can see her husband at least one day in every two weeks of non-stop performances).

Nice to see they’re trying to make things work in their marriage!

Everyone’s been told that marriage is hard work, and it is: you have to make time for things you love,” Katy Perry told Elle March 2011.

If the guys manage to deal with their problems and not to split before the end of Katy’s tour (it ends in November this year) I think Perry will take a break to focus on her family – in her interview with Elle she also said she wanted to have children and “live a full life.”
