Kate and Leo sex it up again

Kate Winslet was in the awkward position of shooting a sex scene with her Titantic lover Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming film Revolutionary Road – directed by her husband, Sam Mendes.

Why? That is so weird, if I was her, no problem. Why? Not because I am so bold, nor that I am so in love with Leo. If I was her, I would just remember the Titanic love scene.

Here is what Kate went through:

I just kept saying, ‘This is too… weird.’ And Leo was like, ‘Oh, get over it.’ And I’m going, ‘Yeah, a little reminder: You’re my best friend. He’s my husband. This is a bit weird.'”

But after Winslet and DiCaprio finally done the passionate sensual sexed-up scene Kate said:

I hadn’t realized how much my chemistry with him since Titanic would still stick. It’s great to discover we can just slip right into it, like muscle memory.”

For his part, Mendes – her husband since 2003 – told the magazine:

I will admit it was quite bizarre to direct my wife in how to make love. But it’s difficult whether you’re married to a person or not.”

Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio, both 33 , who starred in Titanic in 1997, play a suburban couple in the film, based on Richard Yates’ 1961 novel.

“We knew that if we were going to do something again, it had to be something big and emotional,” Winslet said of reuniting with DiCaprio, which she arranged. “I played this very clever cat-and-mouse game to get my husband and then my best friend involved.”
