Joel and Nicole secretly got hitched

Back in September 2007 Joel Madden said he would definitely marry Nicole Richie some day. The day was October 14, 2009.

The rumor has it, the sweet Hollywood couple who welcomed their second child in September, tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony this Wednesday after obtaining the marriage license last week.

Neither Joel, no Nicole has so far commented on the reports.

Nicole and Jole started dating in 2006 and welcomed their first child, daughter Harlow in January 2008. The second child, son Sparrow was born last month.

If the rumor is true, congrats to the happy couple!
