Jessica Simpson is finally engaged to Eric Johnson!

Like Nick, like Jessica! A week after Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson‘s ex husband of three years, announced his engagement to long time girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, it’s been revealed Jessica is also engaged to her boyfriend of seven months Eric Johnson.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have been dating since May this year, and now as Eric is officially divorced, the couple can finally tie the knot.

Johnson popped the question on Thursday, November 11th, and Jessica happily accepted the ruby and diamonds Neil Lane ring.

They are thrilled! Yes, that it’s true. They are engaged!” Jessica Simpson’s rep has officially confirmed the reports.

Congrats to the happy couple! Hope Jess makes her marriage work this time.

Just two days after the engagement Jessica proudly showed off her ring at Dillard’s in Kansas City where she had arrived to promote her new clothing line.

I know it’s a designer ring and it obviously costs a fortune but Simpson’s engagement ring is so ugly I can’t imagine how Jessica wears it at all!
