Hot Hollywood Cougars

Hollywood is a cougar town. For most of female celebrities dating men their age or older is no fun. Having a (much) younger boyfriend/lover/ husband is super motivational to look youthful, sexy, beautiful and redcarpet-ready 24/7.

According to relationship experts, being a “cougar” comes from our culture’s obsession with youth.

Everyone in our society prizes youth because we believe there is a beauty in youth. Women today have never looked better. Today everybody works out and women spend time keeping up their appearances,” relationship expert Rachel Sussman from NYC told ABC News. “I think that there is a lot to be said about being with a seasoned woman who is older than you. That person has a lot more life experience and can be more interesting than someone who is your own age.”

So who are they, Hollywood’s hottest cougars?

#10 Renee Zellwegger (+6)

Before parting ways with her boyfriend Bradley Cooper in spring this year Renee Zellwegger could also be referred to as a cougar. Renee, 42, was six years older than Cooper but it didn’t stop them from having a prolonged relationship of almost two years.

#9 Courteney Cox (+7)

They’re now officially separated but still look a lot like a happy couple. Cougar Town’s star Courteney Cox is seven years older than her (ex)husband David Arquette.

#8 Eva Longoria (+7, +10)

Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria is a petite cougar princess. Her ex husband Tony Parker is 7 years younger, and her new toyboy Eduardo Cruz is even younger, he’s only 26, while Eva is 36.

#7 Cameron Diaz (+8)

For almost four years they made a very cool celebrity couple with Cameron Diaz playing the role of a young Hollywood cougar. Justin Timberlake was eight years younger but they still looked great together.

#6 Jennifer Aniston (+9)

Jennifer Aniston was a real cougar while dating musician John Mayer on-again and off-again for over a year before splitting for good in March 2009.

#5 Halle Berry (+10)

Halle’s long time boyfriend and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry was ten years younger his famous partner. She said he helped her feel and look youthful. Gabriel, the elixir of youth? Oh, I love this idea.

#4 Mariah Carey (+11)

It was a whirlwind romance and a hush-hush wedding but cougar Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are still together, despite rumors and haters. On April 30 they welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe to their family. And Mariah doesn’t seem to care her hubby is over a decade younger.

#3 Susan Sarandon (+12)

Susan Sarandon and partner Tim Robbins had one of the longest lasting relationships in Hollywood. Even though they split last year after 23 years together it didn’t mean Susan, 63, was no longer a cougar. Her new boyfriend is twice younger than her!

#2 Demi Moore (+15)

Demi entered the Cougar Hall of Fame when married Ashton Kutcher in 2005. He’s 15 years younger but we barely spot the age difference, right? (God bless plastic surgery)

#1 Madonna (+28)

Madonna has a soft spot for younger guys. Actually, all her loves/boyfriends/husbands were and are younger. Madonna’s ex-husband Guy Ritchie is 10 years younger and her latest boyfriends model Jesus Luz and dancer Brahim Zaibat are both 28 years younger.

If there’s a celebrity to invent the term “cougar” it must be Madonna.

   Hey,
   I think maybe just maybe they never intenionaly went out to find a younger man. They all just happen to be very passion driven, youthful people and are attracted to the same type of person regardless of age!
   I love someone younger and was shocked to find out his age. I had no idea!!! It wasn’t so I could have motivation to look good, I do that for myself only. You just can’t control who you fall in love with.
