(Inspired by all those comments Beliebers leave for Justin Bieber asking him to marry them). To bring hope to fans, celebrities do marry fans. Sometimes these fans are ordinary people like you ad me, and sometimes they’re fellow celebrities that have a crush on other actors, singers, etc.

Tom Cruise (married to Katie Holmes)

Tom Cruise started his career years before Katie Holmes so when he hit big with Top Gun Katie was still a celebrity wannabe. In her interview with Glamour Katie Holmes confessed that even back then she knew she would marry Tom:

When Top Gun came out, my sisters were like, ‘Oh, my God, Top Gun! Tom Cruise!’ And I very confidently said, ‘I’m going to marry him one day.’ It wasn’t like, ‘How do I get to Tom Cruise?’ It was just: I think I’m going to marry him. Why not? He’ll like me. I’m fun.”

Katie and Tom met in 2005 and got married in 2006 when their daughter Suri was seven months old.

Brad Pitt (married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005)

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston first met on a blind date in 1998. Even before that time Jennifer had known Brad was her destiny. She had had a crush on Pitt for a long time, even writing it in her diary that some day he’d be her husband.

She was partially right – Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston married in 2000 (but later divorced in 2005).

John Travolta (married to Kelly Preston)

One of the longest-lasting celebrity couples in Hollywood, John Travolta and Kelly Preston, seem like a match made in heaven, though Kelly might have her own explanation. When she was only 16 Kelly knew she would some day marry John.

I came out of a film, saw the poster for Grease and I knew I’d be with him. I just knew. I was about 16 years old. I really knew it and it turned into, ‘I’m going to marry that man,” Kelly Preston said.

Elvis Presley (married to Priscilla from 1967 to 1972)

Even when Priscilla Wagner was only 14 she was already 100% sure she’d become his wife. The young girl asked her family friend to introduce her to Elvis Presley. She was many years younger but she made a hue imprecision on the future King of Rock’N’Roll.

When Priscilla was 21 Elvis proposed and she accepted. The couple married in 1967 but divorced 12 years later.

Jesse James (married to Sandra Bullock from 2005 to 2010)

Did you guys know Sandra Bullock was a fan of Jesse James before they met?

But for her love of Monster Garage the couple would have never met. Sandra and James first saw each other when she took her 10 year old godson on a fan tour to visit the set of the reality series. Does she regret that visit now? Maybe, but that’s another story.

   This is a horrible piece of writing. What fans? This is about celebrities who married other celebrities who just happened to be “fans”. This gives normal fans no hope at all.
