Britney Spears’ Fiance Jason Trawick is Petitioning For Conservatorship

Jason Trawick will be Britney Spears not only husband, but now he may take on a legal role in her conservancy. He has allegedly filed to take on the role of co-conservator alongside the pop star’s father Jaime Spears, who has been her sole legal conservator since 2008.

Britney, come on! You are not a little baby but a grown-up woman! Is it really necessary to take care of her from 2 sides? I guess Trawick is thinking about your money now, not about you. Hey, Britney you are 30, it high time to take matters into your own hands and manage your wealth. Federline is far away. How long can it last?

Jamie Spears, Brit’s dad, is asking a court to add Jason Trawick as a co-conservator over his pop star daughter!

So, Jamie Spears has held legal control over his daughter and her multimillion-dollar fortune since Feb. 2008 when things started going downhill for the celeb. Now Trawick will be added into the mix, but he will only have control over her well-being, not her finances. And don’t worry, Brit’s father doesn’t feel like Jason’s treading on his toes or anything. In fact, it was Jamie’s idea to add Jason! Very strange, isn’t it?

Jeffrey S. Cohen, an L.A. probate attorney (who’s not involved with the case directly) told People:

This could be a sign that the couple’s wedding is around the corner.”

However, insiders close to the couple claim that the wedding will not be any time soon and is not even in the planning stages yet. Spears’ dad has continued to look after her estate but her legal team is working with Jamie to come up with a plan to gradually transfer control of the estate back to the singer.

I don’t know how about you people, but that’s a lil bit weird for me. Married conservator? Husband-conservator? Darn!
