Bridezilla Kim Kardashian sets wedding date, shops for wedding dress at Vera Wang

Kim Kardashian has been engaged for a bit more than a month and she’s already decided on every smallest detail of her upcoming wedding to Kris Humphries. Reports claim the wedding will be held in the beginning of August though the particular date has not been unveiled to the media. Yet.

With the date set and all the quests invited, the Kardashian clan is now looking at private estates in Los Angeles for the big royal-style ceremony. It’s known that Kim’s mom Kris Jenner is the wedding planner (she also planned Khloe’s 2009 wedding to Lamar Odom):

The last Kardashian wedding was insane,” a family friend told Popeater. “This time Momma Kris wants time to plan and prepare and make sure the entire family has time to enjoy getting ready for the big day. Kris deserves this moment … and she fully intends to make sure every detail is just perfect.”

The wedding ceremony that will be televised on E! in a two-hour special is said to have the Black Eyed Peas as one of the performing artists. According to an insider, Kim wants her wedding to be broadcast so her fans can celebrate with her “on the most important day of her life.”

With mom Kris planning the wedding, sisters Khloe and Kourtney will be the maids of honor, Kendall and Kylie will be bridal attendants, and little Mason will be the ring bearer.

As to the soon-to-be-married Kim and Kris, they’re also very busy – the couple are taking dancing lessons with Mark Ballas (Dancing With The Stars) as well as shopping for suits for Kris and a wedding dress for Kim.

Kardashian been seen at Vera Wang so it’s possible she’ll pick her to design her dream gown that will be perfect for the Old Hollywood Glamour theme of the wedding. Vera Wang, who designed wedding dresses for Hollywood royalty like Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Elin Nordegren, Ivanka Trump, and even Chelsea Clinton, also designed the wedding dress Khloe Kardashian wore for her September 2009 nuptials.

She did mine, so I hope she does [Kim’s],” Khloe Kardashian said. “Just because I love her, and I feel like when you think of weddings, you think of Vera Wang. I think it would be a perfect fit.”
