Best new story of 2011? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married over the weekend!

According to In Touch, the couple, who’ve been together for five years, got married at a very intimate Morroccan ceremony in front of their six kids, basically doing it for the kids and, to be completely honest, faking it for the kids.

According to the source, the marriage is “just for show” to let their kids, Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, Knox and Vivienne, 2, know how much mommy and daddy really love each other.

Because the kids are getting older, Brad and Angelina decided now was the time to show them how much they loved each other and wanted to be unified as a family,” an insider said.

After so many years together (whole eternity in Hollywood terms) Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have often said they have no plans to get married officially as they’re already a family. Besides, they want to get married when everyone else in the country can do the same – meaning, they’ll only marry when gays are allowed to marry nationwide.

Even if the story proves to be true I still don’t see the point of faking the wedding for the kids? Do you?
