A quickie between Madonna and Guy

This is the last post on Madonna and Guy under the Celebrity Couples.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been granted a preliminary ‘quickie divorce’ per proceedings in the High Court of London earlier today, though neither of them actually appeared in court this morning.

As a result, in six weeks and one day, the Material Girl will officially have her marriage dissolved, given that neither has issued any disputes in the matter.

Guy behaved like a real gentleman should.

He told press:

It was never about money – never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on. I didn’t raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York.”

Now David and Rocco split their time between New York and London, while Lourdes will live with her mother.
