Yet another proof recession is ovah

Recession, bla-bla-bla. Who cares about financial crisis if some people can afford spending as much as $3 million on a birthday bash?

Sean P Diddy Combs had a super lavish celebration this Saturday to mark his 40th birthday. The $3 million extravagance was held at the Plaza in New York with guests including Jay-Z, Bono, Martha Stewart, Christy Turlington, Denzel Washington and Al Green.

According to reportrs, guests were treated to a “fantasy Garden of Eden-themed room” which included a $30k orchid arrangement as well as a customized black dance floor and black chandeliers.

Sounds very expensive.

The Holy Grail of Michael Jackson memorabilia, his diamond encrusted white glove was auctioned this weekend and eventually sold at impressive $350,000 to Hong Kong businessman Hoffman Ma who bought it on behalf of the Ponte 16 resort hotel and casino in Macau, China.

The glove is considered priceless among MJ fans as the King of Pop was first wearing it presenting his super famous moonwalk dance at the 1983 Motown 25 television special.

Congrats Mr. Ma and all guests at Ponte 26 resort!
