Why her? Katy Perry stars in the new Adidas ad

Two years after her debut appearance in an Adidas ad, Katy Perry has starred in the new Adidas commercial set to premiere on TV in the coming months.

In the advert Katy Perry is seen wearing a retro bright red Adidas suit during her dancing rehearsals. Designer Jeremy Scott, the man behind the new Adidas line, joins her in the dance in the second half of the ad video.

Though her cameo is really small and mostly insignificant, I still can’t understand why they’ve chosen Katy Perry to promote the brand? Because the only way you can see her wearing something Adidas is actually when she’s starring in the brand’s ads!

Besides Katy, the new Adidas video commercial also features B.O.B., David Beckham, Chicago Bulls’ Derick Rose, and Lionel Messi.
